Abstract

Objective To explore the effects of Shenmai injection on myocardial injury and oxidative stress in patients with sepsis. Methods: A total of 71 patients with sepsis who were treated in our hospital from Jan. 2019 to Oct. 2020 were selected, and they were divided into the control group and observation group according to different treatment methods. The control group was treated with ulinastatin, while the observation group was treated with Shenmai injection on the basis of the control group. Acute physiology and chronic health evaluation and sequential organ failure scores, myocardial injury markers [ (heart-type fatty acid binding protein, creatine kinase MB, cardiac troponin T ] and oxidative stress levels [superoxide dismutase, oxidized low density lipoprotein] were compared between the two groups. Results: After one week of treatment, the APACHE II and SOFA scores of the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment, and the APACHE II and SOFA scores of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group; After one week of treatment, the levels of cTnT, H-FABP and CK-MB in the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment, and the levels of cTnT, H-FABP and CK-MB in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group; After one week of treatment, the level of SOD in the observation group was significantly higher than that before treatment and in control group, and the level of ox-LDL was significantly lower than that before treatment and in control group. Conclusion: Shenmai injection had a good effect in the treatment of sepsis patients, which could effectively improve myocardial injury and reduce oxidative stress.
