Abstract

Objective To analyze the effect of Yougui drink adjuvant therapy on renal function, inflammatory indexes and complement levels in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), so as to provide reference for clinical treatment of systemic lupus erythematosus. Methods A total of 132 cases of patients diagnosed with SLE of liver and kidney yin-deficiency pattern in our hospital from March 2018 to March 2020 were selected as study objects. All patients were randomly divided in to the control group (n=66) and the observation group (n=66). The control group was treated with glucocorticoids, and the observation group was treated with Yougui drink on the basis of the control group. The traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndrome score, complement index level, renal function, inflammatory index level and hormone dosage between the two groups were compared. Results After treatment, the TCM syndrome scores of the two groups were obviously lower than those before treatment (P<0.05), and the TCM syndrome scores of the observation group were obviously lower than those of the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of C3, C4 and CH50 in the two groups were obviously higher than those before treatment (P<0.05), and the levels of C3, C4 and CH50 in the observation group were obviously higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of serum creatinine (Scr), blood uric acid (BUA) and 24h urine protein in the two groups were obviously higher than those before treatment, the levels of Scr, BUA and 24-hour urinary protein in the observation group were obviously lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of interleukin-8 (IL-8) and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) in the two groups were obviously lower than those before treatment (P<0.05), and the levels of IL-8 and TNF-α in the observation group were obviously lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the dosage of hormone in the two groups was obviously lower than that before treatment (P<0.05), and the dosage of hormone in the observation group was also obviously lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Yougui drink combined with glucocorticoids in the treatment of SLE of liver and kidney yin-deficiency pattern can effectively regulate the immunological function and renal function of the patients, reduce the clinical symptoms and relieve the inflammatory reaction of the body.
