  1. Pathogenesis and Treatment in Stroke (Abbreviated as PTS) is pleased to offer an open access option for the authors to publish their articles, where a universally accepted definition of “open access” is provided based on Budapest, Berlin, and Bethesda declarations, as detailed below:
  • No need to subscribe or pay as peer-reviewed articles are freely accessible.
  • Literature is universally available via the Internet in an easily readable format and deposited immediately upon publication, without embargo, where any content can be reproduced or disseminated in part or in whole on the premise of clearly and unequivocally indicating the original publication source.

  • The full-text of all articles published in PTS are freely open to the public, without any limitation.
  • Articles published in PTS will be exempted from Article Processing Charge in 2023 and are freely available to the wider scope of readers.
