About the Journal

Molecular Cytology & Disease dedicates to the study of the molecular bases of human diseases, and the structure and function of living cells in medical research, with emphasis on hypothesis-driven, mechanistic studies relevant to pathogenesis and/or experimental therapeutics of human diseases. The journal has a broad scope in basic and translational biomedical research of molecular biology, molecular genetics, biochemistry, and cell biology, including but are not limited to oncology, stem cells, immunity and infection, screening and diagnostic, neuroscience, cell therapy, vaccine development, tissue replacement, etc. Studies may encompass chemical or molecular constituents of drugs and cells, the integration at the cellular level of biochemical, molecular, genetic, dynamic architecture, signalling, physiological, and pathological information, also novel techniques and clinical interventions in medical specializations and applications.
