About the Journal

Gastrointestinal Medicine dedicates to present and discuss the latest and most relevant studies in the field of gastrointestinal disease for basic, clinical, and translational researchers and clinicians, thereby helping readers gain insight into the evolving body of research in related disciplines. The journal has a broad scope in the basic research and clinical application of gastrointestinal research, including but not limited to enteral nutrition, metabolic syndrome, pathology and pathophysiology of gastrointestinal related diseases, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. Researches related to the gut-brain axis are in particular insterest. The main article type includes original researches, reviews, systematic reviews, editorials, opinions, and case reports.
